Fade Forward Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing barber education and mentorship to underserved young adults, with a particular focus on those who are currently incarcerated. Our mission is to empower and equip these young individuals with the skills and support they need to build a successful future beyond the barriers they face.

Toby Johnson
Co-Executive Director, Licensed Barber & Barber Instructor
Toby Johnson is a dedicated barber mentor who brings skill heart and real lived experience to every space he enters. As part of Fade Forward Foundation, Toby leads with patience encouragement and a deep belief in the potential of every young person. He teaches the craft of barbering in a way that feels safe creative and empowering while also offering guidance that goes beyond the chair. Toby understands the challenges many teens face and shows up with consistency honesty and genuine care. His goal is to help youth build confidence learn new skills and see their own future with pride and possibility.

Megan Sobchuk
Co-Executive Director
Megan Sobchuk is a youth advocate and program builder who believes deeply in the power of community connection and creative opportunity. As a founder of Fade Forward Foundation, Megan designs programs that meet teens where they are and open doors to confidence, skill building, and real career pathways. She brings experience in juvenile justice reentry education and nonprofit development and uses her work to support young people with care and respect. Megan’s leadership is rooted in listening to youth uplifting their voices and creating spaces where they can grow and thrive.
